Unit 6 The Dental Elites

Teeth have various functions. They can help with eating, aid in pronunciation, and maintain the contour of the face. We have only one set of permanent teeth in our lifetime, so we must take good care of them. This unit explores the process, symptoms, treatment and prevention of tooth decay. It also teaches teenagers the eating habits for dental care and answers common questions so that teenagers can understand how to keep their teeth healthy.
