3 Feb: Public Lecture on Preventing Colorectal Cancer

On February 3, 2024 (Saturday), Professor Wong Chi-sang Martin was invited to give a lecture on preventing colorectal cancer. The lecture was part of a health event organised by the Wong Tai Sin District Health Centre, and it was attended by a number of people. The aim of the lecture was to provide relevant information about colorectal cancer to all the participants.

During the lecture, Professor Wong talked about various aspects of colorectal cancer, including its typical locations, the number of new cases, mortality rates, high-risk factors, symptoms, prevention methods, and treatment options. He emphasised the importance of regular screening for early detection, which can significantly improve the chances of preventing and successfully treating colorectal cancer.
