Parent-Child Cooking Workshop (Be Energetic: Study of the Education and Promotion of Weight Control in School Children of Hong Kong)

The problem of overweight and obesity among children in Hong Kong has not yet improved. In view of this, in the 2023/24 school year, the Centre launched a project named Be Energetic: Study of the Education and Promotion of Weight Control in School Children of Hong Kong, and in April 2024, with the support of dietitian from Yuen Long District Health Centre, the "Parent-child Healthy Cooking Workshop" was successfully held at Christian Alliance S.Y. Yeh Memorial Primary School, a participating primary school of this pilot project. With the company and guidance of their parents, the participating school children enjoyed the preparation of healthy snacks!
